Simple extensive tar-like archive format with indexing
Asar is a simple extensive archive format, it works like tar that concatenates all files together without compression while having random access support. You can pass in a transform option, which is a function, that either returns nothing or a stream. Transform. The latter will be used on files that will be in the .asar file to transform them. There is also an unofficial grunt plugin to generate asar archives at bwin/grunt-asar. Asar uses Pickle to safely serialize binary value to file, there is also a node.js binding of Pickle class. The header_size and header are serialized with Pickle class, and header_size's Pickle object is 8 bytes. offset and size record the information to read the file from the archive, the offset starts from 0 so you have to manually add the size of header_size and header to the offset to get the real offset of the file. -

A DOM-only, super-fast, uber-tolerant XSS sanitizer for HTML, SVG and MathML. It's also very simple to use and get started with. DOMPurify was started in February 2014 and, meanwhile, has reached version 2.3.0. DOMPurify is written in JavaScript and works in all modern browsers (Safari (10+), Opera (15+), Internet Explorer (10+), Edge, Firefox and Chrome - as well as almost anything else using Blink or WebKit). It doesn't break on MSIE6 or other legacy browsers. It either uses a fall-back or simply does nothing. Our automated tests cover 17 different browsers right now, more to come. We also cover Node.js v14.15.1, v15.4.0, running DOMPurify on jsdom. Older Node.js versions are known to work as well. DOMPurify is written by security people who have vast background in web attacks and XSS. -

The true value enables the processing of all default elements and attributes, the false value disables the processing of all attributes. Allows you to specify which tags and attributes to process, filter them, filter urls and process sources starting with /. Allows to setup which tags and attributes to process and how, as well as the ability to filter some of them. Filter can also be used to extend the supported elements and attributes. By default, the parser in html-loader interprets content inside noscript tags as #text, so processing of content inside this tag will be ignored. A very common scenario is exporting the HTML into their own .html file, to serve them directly instead of injecting with javascript. -

JSON5 was started in 2012, and as of 2022, now gets >65M downloads/week, ranks in the top 0.1% of the most depended-upon packages on npm, and has been adopted by major projects like Chromium, Next.js, Babel, Retool, WebStorm, and more. It's also natively supported on Apple platforms like MacOS and iOS. Formally, the JSON5 Data Interchange Format is a superset of JSON (so valid JSON files will always be valid JSON5 files) that expands its syntax to include some productions from ECMAScript 5.1 (ES5). It's also a subset of ES5, so valid JSON5 files will always be valid ES5. This JavaScript library is a reference implementation for JSON5 parsing and serialization and is directly used in many of the popular projects mentioned above. -

Turndown
An HTML to Markdown converter written in JavaScript
Convert HTML into Markdown with JavaScript. to-markdown has been renamed to Turndown. See the migration guide for details. For usage with RequireJS, UMD versions are located in lib/turndown.umd.js (for Node.js) and lib/turndown.browser.umd.js for browser usage. These files are generated when the npm package is published. To generate them manually, clone this repo and run npm run build. Turndown also accepts DOM nodes as input (either element nodes, document nodes, or document fragment nodes). Options can be passed in to the constructor on instantiation. The key parameter is a unique name for the rule for easy reference. By default, Turndown does not keep any elements. The filter parameter works like a rule filter. To keep elements that are normally handled by rules, add a rule with the desired behaviour.
