Imaginary is a high-performance HTTP microservice for image processing written in Go and powered by bimg and libvips. It can run as a private or public service and is designed for large-scale, low-memory image workloads. Images can be supplied through POST bodies, local files, or remote URLs. Supported operations include resizing, cropping, rotation, conversion, watermarking, and other transformations exposed through a simple HTTP API. Optional protections include API tokens, signed URLs, CORS, concurrency throttling, and fallback placeholder images. Docker and cloud deployment options make it suitable for distributed services. It supports common formats such as JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIF, with additional formats available through libvips builds. -

React-rewards lets you add micro-interactions to your app, and rewards users with the rain of confetti, emoji or balloons in seconds. Firing confetti all over the page may seem like a questionable idea, but keep in mind that rewarding users for their actions is not. If a huge cloud of smiling emoji doesn't fit your application well, try changing the physics config to make it more subtle. In order to use the rewards, you'll need to provide an element that will become the origin of the animation. This element needs to have an ID that matches the one used inside the hook - it can be anywhere in the DOM as long as the IDs match. You can place the element inside a button, center it and shoot up from the button. You can place it on top of the viewport with position: "fixed" and change the angle to 270, to shoot downwards. Try, experiment, have fun! -

Twitter Text Libraries. This code is used at Twitter to tokenize and parse text to meet the expectations for what can be used on the platform. This repository is a collection of libraries and conformance tests to standardize parsing of Tweet text. It synchronizes development, testing, creating issues, and pull requests for twitter-text's implementations and specification. These libraries are responsible for determining the quantity of characters in a Tweet and identifying and linking any URL, @username, #hashtag, or $cashtag. Emoji supported by twemoji always count as two characters, regardless of combining modifiers. This includes emoji which have been modified by Fitzpatrick skin tone or gender modifiers, even if they are composed of significantly more Unicode code points. Emoji weight is defined by a regular expression in twitter-text that looks for sequences of standard emoji combined with one or more Unicode Zero Width Joiners (U+200D). -
