Comix is a user-friendly, customizable image viewer. It is specifically designed to handle comic books, but also serves as a generic viewer. It reads images in ZIP, RAR or tar archives (also gzip or bzip2 compressed) as well as plain image files.

User Reviews

  • Comix is great and works well but development seems to have stopped since 2009. Take a look at MComix for more of the same but with updates and fixes.

  • very good project

  • Any excellent program, very useful

  • The best comic viewer by far for Linux. I think the next natural step would be the comic library like Comicrack.

  • Great app! Only thing missing is database and comicinfo(xml) support.
