An open source roguelike adventure through dungeons filled with dangerous monsters in a quest to find the mystifyingly fabulous Orb of Zot. Crawl may seem easier than many other roguelikes at first glance, but dig a little deeper and you'll find it's just as challenging as some of the most difficult variations out there and a good deal harder than the rest. A strong set of design philosophies makes it much friendlier (and generally fairer) to the player - deaths are a learning experience instead of an exercise in frustration. Crawl also sports a number of systems and mechanics that diverge from more traditional roguelikes. For example, there's less emphasis on character classes (or backgrounds in Crawl parlance); your character is defined more by their skills, species and choice of deity than their background. Crawl includes an in-game tutorial and manual in the name of providing something playable without the aid of a guide or wiki. -

Flame is a modular Flutter game engine that provides a complete set of out-of-the-way solutions for games. It takes advantage of the powerful infrastructure provided by Flutter but simplifies the code you need to build your projects. It provides you with a simple yet effective game loop implementation, and the necessary functionalities that you might need in a game. For instance; input, images, sprites, sprite sheets, animations, collision detection, and a component system that we call Flame Component System (FCS for short). You can pick and choose whichever parts you want, as they are all independent and modular. The engine and its ecosystem are constantly being improved by the community, so please feel free to reach out, open issues and PRs as well as make suggestions. Games sometimes require complex feature sets depending on what the game is all about. Some of these feature sets are outside of the scope of the Flame Engine ecosystem. -

A Forge implementation of the Sponge API. SpongeForge uses Gradle as its build system. The repo includes the Gradle wrapper that will automatically download the correct Gradle version. Local installations of Gradle may work but are untested. To execute the Gradle wrapper, run the ./gradlew script on Unix systems or only gradlew on Windows systems. In order to build SpongeForge you simply need to run the gradlew command. On Windows systems you should run gradlew instead of ./gradlew to invoke the Gradle wrapper. SpongeForge is the implementation of the Sponge API on the Minecraft Forge platform. Recommended for running plugins together with Forge mods. The purpose of the Sponge project is to create a plugin development framework for Minecraft: Java Edition.
