Negli ultimi otto mesi ho realizzato un programma che si basa in parte sulle informazioni di entanglement quantistico per alzare di molto le probabilità di vittoria al super-enalotto. In questo ambito il programma elabora centinaia di migliaia di serie casuali per ricercare la serie piu prossima allo storico reale e poi su questa esegue le sue previsioni. Il programma elabora anche tre giocate secondo le statistiche classiche determinando i migliori numeri in funzione di frequenze di uscita e ritardo ed escludendo quelli fuori dal range con la regola dei tre sigma (dev.std.). È intuitivo e facile da usare, ho scritto il codice partendo da zero incluse le routine di input e del controllo del mouse, così non dipende da copyright, librerie o frameworks e può essere usato liberamente anche in sistemi non windows. Fox Oring is a variation of the sport of amateur radio direction finding. Fox Oring is a timed race in which individual competitors use a topographic map and a magnetic compass to navigate through diverse, wooded terrain while searching for radio transmitters. The term is derived from the use of the term fox hunting to describe recreational radio direction finding activity and an abbreviation of the word orienteering. It is necessary to discover 5 hidden transmitters located on a 10 × 10 field in as few moves as possible. The transmitters broadcast in all 8 directions, the number on the cell indicates the number of intersecting signals. -

A CLI utility that writes a haiku
The thought struck me ... an OS called Haiku should be able to ... write a haiku. So I slapped together a CLI utility along the lines of fortune. No deep semantic analysis involved, I'm afraid, just a rearrangement of words in the required 5 - 7 - 5 syllable patterns. Occasionally it sounds as if there is a poet inside the computer trying to break out. Far more often, it looks like the computer is populated by Vogons. But, it is a haiku. You can pipe the output like any self-respecting *NIX utility. That was easy enough. What is taking up time is adding sufficient words to its database to prevent the haikus becoming repetitious. Version 0.1 is about halfway through the alphabet. Written in yab. I haven't tried it yet, but the code should work in yabasic for Windows or Linux. -

Advanced Yacht

A modification of the game Yacht with the rules of 1938 year. The goal is to score the maximum number of points by throwing five dice to obtain certain combinations. Player can roll up to three times per turn, either all dice or selected dice. The game consists of eighteen rounds. After each round, player can choose which scoring category to use, but you cannot choose the same category twice. Some categories are fixed, while others depend on the value of the dice.
