Vaio DOS is the greatest DOS distribution of all the times. You may freely use it for personal purpose on a retrocomputer at your own risk. Either way, I'll appreciate knowing you have found it to be helpful, my dear friend. The distro was tested on the Sony Vaio PCG-VX88 (PCG-551L) laptop. WxTools (Weather Data Tool Suite) is a collection of software for collecting and displaying weather data from various weather stations. The software works with the Fine Offset WH290 and similar models (including clones such as the Pro-Signal PSG04173). It also works with the Oregon Scientific WMR180 weather station (and probably similar models such as the WMR88 and WMR100) as well as the older WMR928. Sample weather data is provided. -

Y.A.G.A.C is a free open-source platformer game
Y.A.G.A.C. is a very challenging and addictive pseudo-2D platformer game, with 2D sprites in a 3D playfield, but you are limited to movement in two dimensions. It's a story-less game, heavily gameplay based, where you play a ninja trapped in dungeons filled with traps and robots. As you collect colored balls hidden around the level, so the platforms of that color become solid and you can then reach new places inside the level. A very challenging game. Excellent and very smooth engine, the game's strongest point. -

Not tested on other UNIX platforms, but it should be possible to adjust them accordingly. Yabadabbadoo for Haiku
An alternative IDE for the yab programming language
Yabadabbadoo is an alternative IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for Jan Bungeroth's yab programming language for Haiku. Yabadabbadoo differs from the official yab IDE in that it creates subroutines (and some other important parts of your program) as separate files, then glues them together as required. This makes it easier to write long programs: instead of constantly scrolling up and down between subroutines, you just double-click on the one you want to edit - more like we used to work in QuickBasic. Debugging, on the other hand, becomes a little more tricky than in the official IDE. Yabadabbadoo suggests that you reserve workspace 4 for its own use and for best results demands a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 on that workspace. Source code is included. In Yabadabbadoo format, of course. -
