QChartist is a free and open source technical analysis charting software. Its purpose is to provide a complete set of tools to perform technical analysis on charts and data. It helps to make forecasts mainly for markets but can also be used for weather or any quantifiable data. The program is flexible and its functionalities can be easily extended. You can draw geometrical shapes on your charts or plot programmable indicators from your data. It is also possible to filter or merge data. I got a little inspired from MT4 allowing a fairly easy portability of programmed indicators from MT4 to QChartist. It is now faster and much more professional thanks to the use of a C++ layer (used mostly for calculations) over the standard Basic layer (used mostly for the GUI interface). OOoLilyPond (OLy) is an Extension for OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice. With OLy, you can include musical notation within text and presentation documents. Create a task list while making minutes with OpenOffice or LibreOffice
Easy install for Windows and OS X with this new and final version 1.2.2; click and play! When there is a task that has to be done by you, you activate the macro (through a keystroke or by using the menu). A window box comes up, where you can fill in the subject of the task, the due date and some other details. The macro also records in the background the filename if you were making minutes at the moment, the current date and a paragraph selected with text (hopefully related to that action). If no text is selected, no text is recorded. Afterwards you can call a report, from a database called TakenDB.odb, from within Writer. It gives all the unfinished tasks, sorted on priority. That database also contains other useful reports, which you can use if you open the database with Open Office Base. The database also contains a form where you can browse through all the tasks and make changes. I use this extension on a daily basis for my work. Building blocks, small demo apps, and pieces of sample code for Gambas2. Also see more recent Garlic3 project on https://sourceforge.net/projects/garlic3. All can be used to take a look how things can be done in Gambas, not with the idea to supply a product or a finished program. The sourcecode can easily be run from Gambas2 on Linux. Some small programs that appear here are in real use in a small business, but no warranty is given! SimpleDemo contains more complete apps that can be used to demonstrate a working Gambas program. Database is often needed. SimpleSample is more a small piece of sample code as a reminder how gambas works or how something can be done. Empty project is an example of how you can start with some things in place already; just copy the code to any new project, more templates might appear. Feedback is welcomed of course, bugs might be corrected if you create a ticket in the bug list. -
