    raspberry-pi-os

    raspberry-pi-os

Learning operating system development using Linux kernel and Raspberry

This project provides a step-by-step educational guide on building a simple operating system kernel entirely from scratch, specifically targeting the Raspberry Pi 3. The operating system, referred to as RPi OS, is inspired by the Linux kernel but remains intentionally minimal to focus on clarity and teaching fundamental OS concepts. Each lesson introduces a kernel feature and demonstrates its implementation within RPi OS, followed by a comparison to how the same concept is realized in the...

    amiga-label-maker

    amiga-label-maker

A label maker program for 3.5" floppy disks for the Amiga written

A label maker program for 3.5" floppy disks for the Amiga written in 1989 using 100% assembly (Profimat Amiga). Back in those days, it was all about floppy disks. Of course, the floppies came with some stickers to write down the content of the disk but I wanted to use my shiny new 24-pin printer so I wrote this little utility. It worked best using some "Zweckform" labels back then. I can't tell if there are still available today.

    spectramfid

A ramdisk on a Spectranet device FID driver for CP/M Plus

...Changes in v1.1: keep floppy drive motor state (as set by CP/M) when paging in Spectranet RAM (to avoid motor jumps). Unfortunately, motor state is controlled by the same hardware register as +3's memory paging features! Changes in v1.2: Avoid using Spectranet RAM page 0 used by the device itself. Thanks to this change this driver can be used with the upcoming driver for networked disk image. This driver can work along with spectran.fid driver exposing other networking capabilities of Spectranet device to the CP/M system.

    xplgraph-cpmgsx-dxforth

An replacement of DXForth's xplgraph.scr library for CP/M

...The aim of this project is to provide an replacement of the original xplgraph.scr library, exposing roughly the same API, enabling graphics in DXForth running under CP/M. This library is written using DXForth's inline assembly (with all of its cryptic syntax) and uses CP/M's GSX interface. Using this interface enables graphical output to either local screen or remote devices connected through a serial port (like Tektronix 4010 text-and-graphics terminal emulator running on PC). Limitations: - No colors, no shades of gray. Color 0 is blank, others are mapped to solid pixels...

    NitrOSX

An alternate repository for NitrOS-9 geared specificly for the Coco 3

With this project, I hope to eventually bring the build process back to the Color Computer once again without using "Cross Compiler" or modern tools. The initial effort will require the "LWtools" and "ToolShed" cross compilers until I stabilize the code back to a form which will compile entirely on the Color Computer using NitrOS-9 assemblers and compilers.

    Advanced Onion Router
...Some of the improvements include UNICODE paths, support for HTTP and HTTPS proxy protocols on the same Socks4/Socks5 port with HTTP header filtering that generates fake identity-dependent headers every time the identity is changed (proxy chains are also supported), support for NTLM proxies, a User Interface that makes Tor's options and actions more accessible, local banlist for forbidden addresses, private identity isolation, a point-and-click process interceptor that can redirect connections from programs that don't support proxies, also giving them fake information about the local system and support for .onion addresses. Also, it can estimate AS paths for all circuits and prevent AS path intersections, it can restrict circuits to be built using only nodes from different countries, can change circuit lengths and more.

    PPMScope

    Microcontroller based PC Oscilloscope

PPMScope is a do-it-yourself oscilloscope with an open source design. The intent is that the project can be constructed by an electronics hobbiest using the instructions included. The design is a compromise between features and cost. The bandwidth is lower than a commercial scope, so it's use is limited to signals of 500 kHz and below. It's sample buffer is also smaller than a commercial scope, however sufficient for most oscilloscope functions. This is a version based on the PIC16F877A microcontroller running with a 20MHz clock. ...
