I loved phpMyAdmin before they ruined everything with popups ant sh*t (new design solutions)! now its a true challange and nightmare to work with :( but sadly there is no better tool, even when its so annoying to use. imagine creating a table with 20 fields and 3rd time in a row after filling almost all inputs you hit ESC to cancel browser autocomplete and you have to start all over again because popup is closed :( and if thats not enough after you fill 20 field form again for the 4th time you get alert "This is not a number" with no sign what does it mean by saying "This", you have to refresh the page and start all over again! i'm so furious with this new update, and lots of my friends who have to use this newly designed phpMyAdmin just hates it :(
phpMyAdmin saved my life when all I had otherwise was SSH.

This tool is _the_ tool to use for MySQL administration. It's full-featured, under constant improvement, and the developers are active in the support forums, too. Highly recommended for anyone who uses MySQL.
The most complete and convinient MySQL administration tool. More complete and convinient than MySQL Administrator native windows application. Proper configuration may be a little PITA, but basic features work even without configuring.
