I agree, there are too many good editors on Linux to worry much about making notepad++ portable. It would be cool, but if I were Don Ho I wouldn't waste my time with that at this point.

I was doing some programming in php tonight and i noticed that there are 3 php keywords that are not highlighted by notepad++. These 3 keywords are try, catch, and throw. I'm guessing that because they were added in PHP5 it was something that didn't exist when that part of notepad++ was written.
It's an easy fix anyone can do (though I would like to see it in a future release of notepad++...

when using large files (tab-delim text, 260.000 lines, 78 columns), 2 problems occur:
1.
not all lines are loaded, in my case 209.618 of 261.599, but no error message
2.
search and replace doesn't work any more. e.g searching for commas does find commas, but only a tiny fraction (below 10%). Search and replace for those commas reports success, but nothing is...

A number of plugins including perhaps the most useful one of all, Window Manager, give me MSVCP71.dll errors. The dll is present in system32 as well as in the Notepad++ folder but the error still occurs. I'm running Windows 7, all recent updates and Notepad++ 5.5.
Any ideas?.

Assume one or more files has been modified, and that, in the former case, other documents are open.

Is there a feature in Notepad++ where, if you have multiple tabs open, when you close the program you can get a pop-up warning asking you for confirmation? If the feature is in there already, could someone please let me know where that option is? If not, I could really use a setting like this. Thanks for your time.
