Wow, it looks like you're using a *really* old version of LMMS (Qt3 based 0.3.x series). Please upgrade to 0.4.x and your problems likely will be gone.

This is a known issue with early versions of Qt 4.5. Please upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 and the issue should be gone. We can't fix it within LMMS.

Thank you for this report. The issue has been fixed in commit 598bbcd1f72d84ffd3da0cdd429a8b0cd5d21f15. The bug luckily only existed in master branch.

I have Ubuntu Jaunty & LMMS 0.4.2. In attempt to update to LMMS 0.4.5, I downloaded & attempted to install lmms_0.4.5~ppa-1jaunty_i386.deb and got the following error message : Error : Dependency is not satisfiable : lmms-common (=0.4.5~ppa-1jaunty). Is there an easier way to update ? And should I remove the older version or just install the latest on top of it ? Thanx.

Ubuntu 9.10 (i386)
LMMS works fine using SDL or ALSA, if choosing pulseaudio as the output driver it crashes :
