[Vym-devel] Interface for automated testing e.g. on Windows?

Hi,

I wonder what would be the best interface to use for testing on !Linux
platforms.

On Linux I currently use DBUS, as it kind of ensures that only the same
user starting vym will be able to remote control it within a dbus
session.

Currently we have >140 automated tests, running from a simple ruby
script and communicating with vym via dbus.

My idea is to have the same the same testscript, but using a different
interface, e.g. SSL connection.

On Linux and ruby is just there, afaik on Windows it's easy to install.

What do you think?
