[Moving from 'tuxpaint-devel' to 'tuxpaint-users', and Cc'ing Gina as well, since I'm not sure she's subscribed to either list] On Tue, Jul 12, 2005 at 10:50:32AM -0400, Gina Susanne Loveless wrote: > I'm a teacher and grad student. (I wasn't 100% sure what "NETS" was, but Google helpd :^) ) For those curious, I discovered it to be this: "The National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) Project is an ongoing initiative of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and a consortium of distinguished partners and co-sponsors." http://cnets.iste.org/ > I'm doing a project for my grad work and wanted to > use Tux Paint. I need lessons using Tux Paint and their alignment to the > NETS standards. Is this information available online, at all?????? Unfortunately, not that I know of. The closest thing I can think of is Francesca Campora's "Guida Didattica TuxPaint 2.0" ("Tux Paint Didactical Guide", in Italian): http://maestradigitale.it/tuxpaintguide2.0/1.htm (BTW, I'd love it if this were made available in other languages. It's published under the GNU Free Documentation License. :^) ) However, I'd be happy to look into this and find a way, if possible, for us to come up with lesson plans that can be 'blessed' as an NETS standard. I'm not positive when I'll have time to work on this, and encourage others to look into it and discuss it on 'tuxpaint-users', where it might be a little more applicable. I've actually moved this thread from 'tuxpaint-devel' to there. (See: http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/tuxpaint/lists/ for list info.) -- -bill!
