Weird, now it's happening for me under Linux. (Well, it's not a complete crash, but the on screen keyboard doesn't get erased, and I'm switched back to the paint tool.) I see this in a terminal: child killed by signal 6 In fact, it seems to happen even if I have on-screen keyboard option left out! It happens with or without running under gdb. When I run under valgrind, it all seems to work (OSK comes up and I can click the key buttons in the OSK to type text :) ) Difference for me between today, and a few days ago when I was working on Tux Paint, is that I've upgraded my laptop to Kubuntu 14.04. So perhaps something underlying is acting strange (SDL, Freetype, ???) At least now that I can reproduce the crash (hopefully the same as the crash on Windows), I can figure out how to fix it or work around it. :) -bill! |
