I've created a public organization for "Tux Paint" on Trello [1], a free, collaborative web-based (and mobile-app-based) project management service: https://trello.com/tuxpaint It uses the 'kanban' paradigm, popularized by Toyota in the 1980s for supply chain management. [2] Some folks at my job are using it for management of new feature development, and I've started using it for household task management, and running my Linux user group. Based on the recent conversation that started on tuxpaint-i18n, I've started assembling people's thoughts (so far, stuff Pere mentioned) on what's needed before we can put together a 0.9.22 release. (I'll also eventually start putting together a post-release task list, mostly related to announcements & such.) I'd like to invite everyone out here (-dev, -i18n, -maintainers) to join the organization on Trello, so you can help in this process. If you have a Trello account already (or you decide to go and set one up yourself right now), please send me your Trello username. If you do not have an account, and just want me to 'invite' you to Trello, please send me the email address you'd like me have them attach to your account. (Send stuff to me privately, to reduce noise on the list!) Thanks! [1] http://www.trello.com/ [2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trello -- -bill! Sent from my computer |
