[Skim-app-users] Skim with DevonThink Pro

Anyone have any tips on using Skim with DT Pro?

What I've done so far is configure Skim as the default app for PDFs.
That means when I click "Open Externally" in DT, the PDF will open in
Skim. What I'd like, is to be able to add notes and things using Skim,
and have these notes appear and be searchable when I go back to DT.

So far, the only way to have them appear in DT is to do "Export as PDF
with Embedded Notes" from Skim. This works fine, in that the notes now
appear in DT. However, open opening the PDF again in Skim, I can no
longer edit the notes, ie., the metadata is gone.

A few of us on the DT forums have tried to come up with a solution,
but we're stuck so far. If anyone here is using Skim with DT, and has
an idea, that'd be great.
