Adrian, I'm making progress in modifying my system to deal with the new gtkextra-2 API. I've run in to one problem that I don't understand, and the test programs have been changed to remove any example, so I'm hoping you have a suggestion... Prior the most recent changes, I have been using gtk_plot_put_text to put text on a plot. This routine is still in gtkextra-2, so I assume it's still available to be used. However, it's not working. None of this section of my code has changed, but with the new gtkextra-2 I'm not getting the text as I had before. All instances of displaying text in textgtkplot.c have been changed to use the new method of putting text on a canvas as a child. However, this is not what I need to do -- I need the text on a plot, rather than having the text on the canvas itself. I have tried gtk_widget_show on the text, etc. The plot the text is on is the only thing on the canvas at this point, and I know the plot is showing because I can see it's axes lines and my custom ticks being generated. Thoughts? Thanks! -Al |
