When compiling gtkextra, I get the following compiler warning: gtkplot.c: In function `gtk_plot_calc_ticks': gtkplot.c:2954: warning: `tick' might be used uninitialized in this function gtkplot.c:3054: warning: `tick_step' might be used uninitialized in this function Are you sure 'tick' and 'tick_step' will get the appropriate values in gtk_plot_calc_ticks ? (Is a plot always either GTK_PLOT_SCALE_LINEAR or GTK_PLOT_SCALE_LOG10 ? ). You also could define 'gdouble tick' more restrictive (as restrictive as tick_step): remove its declaration from line 2954, and add line 2023/24: gdouble tick_step = min; gdouble tick = min; line 3054: gdouble tick_step; gdouble tick; The compiler will still send out a warning since in 3054 'tick' and 'tick_step' might be uninitialized ?!?
