It did not appear in /usr/local/share/aclocal (which is where the gtk.m4 appears) with the 99.12 version installed. I have not done a make install on 99.13 yet, as the make failed when compiling the test programs and I have not yet debugged that. I have somehow broken my application's ./configure (before trying to add gtkextra support), so I'm using a workaround of having the following in my Makefile.am for the 'avdisplay' executable: avdisplay_CFLAGS = `gtkextra-config --cflags` avdisplay_LDFLAGS = `gtkextra-config --libs` When I get my ./configure working, I'll try the AM_PATH_GTKEXTRA macro.
