Hello all, Each time I try to connect to a Window$ machine using rdesktop from the x86_64 edition of Suse 9.3, I receive the following error message : ERROR: The display does not support true colour - high colour support unavailable. Below is the command I use to make the connection (Terminal Services is listening on port 9050 instead the standard one) : rdesktop 192.168.1.1:9050 The Windows$ machine runs Windows 2000 Server. Below are the details of my system : - Tyan mainboard - Dual AMD Opteron 240 - Suse 9.3 Professional (x86_64 edition) - kernel 2.6.11.4-21.7-smp - rdesktop version 1.3.1 I've already compiled rdesktop 1.4.1 on my system, but receive the same error message. I don't have any problems connecting to the Window$ machine from the i386 edition of Suse 9.3 (tested under VMWare). So, I presume this has something to do with the 64-bit edition. Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer to figure this out. I really appreciate any of your help! Kind regards, Bart. |
