The default system policy on newer Windows versions allows only Network-Level Authentication (where the RDP client does the authentication via Kerberos before actually showing the remote screen.) Take a look under Control Panel -> System, Advanced properties, Remote tab. You may need to choose to "Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop" Sincerely, Sean M.
