The unchanged filenames are the references to the 'data display' page. 
Also, if you 
- rename a schematic
- open it
- hit F4 (switch to data display)
- hit F4 again,
it does not switch back to the original schematic, but creates a new empty schematic (with the old name).

If a schematic is renamed, the associated 'data display' should also be renamed, together with the references to each other.
