Category: Skill Support Group: 5.8.0 Stable Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Geoffrey (theprog) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Conditional "Survival" sub-skill ranks not correct in RSRD Initial Comment: PCGen doesn't copy the skill ranks from Survival to the four categories of conditional synerges correctly. Survival, Survival (Nature/environment), Survival (Lost/natural hazards) etc are the same skill according to the RSRD. However, there are synergies that only apply under certain conditions. PCGen handles this by dividing the Survival skill into many different sub-skills. However, if I were to add a rank to Survival, the ranks in all the Survival sub-skills remain at 0. In rsrd_skills.lst, I notice that the Survival sub-skill lines contain "BONUS:SKILLRANK|Survival (...)|Survival.RANK". However, Survival.RANK does NOT return the number of ranks I have in the Survival skill, it returns 0.0. I replaced all instances of the "Survival.RANK" with PCGen's new syntax for retrieving ranks ("SKILLRANK=Survival") and the sub-skills work as expected now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384719&aid=1239207&group_id=25576 |
