Bugs item #1153982, was opened at 2005-02-28 22:55 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by eddyanthony You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384719&aid=1153982&group_id=25576 Category: Equipment/Weaponprof Support Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: AUTO:ARMORPROF|TYPE tag bug Initial Comment: The docs say : "You may have one TYPE with multiple "." period delimited armor types. This will grant the character proficiency with only armor that meet all of the listed choices." But it doesn't work that way. Sounds like a bug to me. :) As I had listed before as an example, you can do this and see how it works: 1. Make an armor with TYPE:Heavy.Standard.Suit 2. Make an armor with TYPE:Exotic.Heavy.Suit 3. Give a feat or class AUTO:ARMORPROF|TYPE.Heavy.Standard Go to the inventory screen, check the Exotic armor and you will have proficiency. According to the docs, it should only give you proficiency in the Heavy.Standard armor. Evan <eva...@ci...> I agree, either this is a code bug or the docs are wrong. If the tag is not meant to work this way move this over to Doc Bugs -Eddy ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Date: 2005-03-31 13:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=886893 This appears to effect AUTO:SHIELDPROF ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384719&aid=1153982&group_id=25576 |
