Perhaps call it a Fused Eidolon for clarity.</p> <p>This seems to make sense because the synthesist isn't always merged. There will inevitably be a need for the summoner's stats when not fused.</p> <p>One issue I see that applies to any solution is that the synthesist's 16th level ability Split Forms is hard to represent on the character sheet. Unfortunately/Fortunately, this issue also exists with the vanilla summoner's 20th level ability Twin Forms already, so they are both problems in need of a solution. Both of these abilities require a temporary set of stats that is a mixture of the summoner and eidolon. For Split Forms this is even more complicated because a Fused Eidolon "has no skills or feats of its own", yet when using Split Forms "the eidolon functions as a normal eidolon of the summoner’s class level."</p> <p>I have a suggestion for that too, but again I don't know how much of this can be done with current data/os. Perhaps when building the eidolon the skills and feats unique to the eidolon could be selected just like a vanilla summoner's eidolon but not displayed in the main skills and feats sections of the output sheet. Instead, the synthesist's skills could be listed in the skills table and the synthesist's feats could be listed in the feats table. At level 16 a separate section could be activated that lists the eidolon's skills and feats available during Split Form. A similar section could be activated on the synthesist's output sheet at level 16 to add the eidolon's evolutions usable during Split Form. I imagine a Twin Form section would be best represented on the summoner's sheet listing the eidolon's physical stats as well as it's evolutions.</p> <p>Is it possible for the "companion" to grant something to it's "owner"? Is there a mechanism in place to add an optional, arbitrary stat block to the output sheet? Is there a way to override all skills and feats of the "companion" yet maintain the actual sections in the background to conditionally show later in an entirely different section?</p> <p>I'm probably way off, but I figured it would be best to get this out there in case there were any usable ideas.</p></div> <div style="color:#505050;padding:4px 0 0 0;"> </div> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td><!-- End #email-page --> </tr> <tr valign="top"> <td style="color:#505050;font-family:Arial,FreeSans,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:10px;line-height:14px;padding: 0 16px 16px 16px;text-align:center;"> This message is automatically generated by JIRA.<br /> If you think it was sent incorrectly, please contact your JIRA administrators<br /> For more information on JIRA, see: <a style='color:#3b73af;' href='http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira'>http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira</a> </td> </tr> </table><!-- End #email-wrap --> </div><!-- End #email-body --> |
