adding to a specific chosen variable ------------------------------------ Key: CODE-863 URL: http://jira.pcgen.org/browse/CODE-863 Project: Code Issue Type: New Feature Components: Needs Verification Review Reporter: David R. Bender SF - ID: 1685679 Last Update: Settings changed ( thpr ) Details: Per Tom Parker, making a freq because of this thread, started on: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/PCGenListFileHelp/message/12646 === I'm working on a source that has numerous feats that have save DCs in them. There is another feat in the source that allows you to pick one fo these feats and add +2 to that specific DC. You can take this feat multiple times, each time to a different feat. Is there a way to grab the variable embedded in the feat chooser? Ex Foo 1 DC save X Foo 2 DC save Y Foo 3 DC save Z Bar Choose TYPE.Foo and add +2 to the variable (X, Y or Z depending upon what's chosen) Did that make sense? Paul W. King PR SB, BoD === === The only thing I can think of would be to have a middle tier of feats, with each adding a bonus to a specific variable. It seems pretty awkward, but should work. I hope someone has a better idea, though, because I'd like to see that. === === Yeah, I had thought of that, but was hoping for something a bit more elegant. Oh, well, brute force it is. Thanks. === === Please FREQ this as well, to document that you are using an ugly workaround. === Paul W. King PR SB, BoD Submitted: Paul W.
