Here's the proposal -

The new format for the EQMOD= subtoken in PRETYPE for Equipment and Equipment Mods would be:
EQMOD=x(y)
x = text (tests for the presence of the EQMOD Name listed)
y = text (Choice taken in the specified EQMOD Name, Optional)
Backwards compatible, (y) is optional

This will not affect any existing data sets, no conversion needed.
