Category: Documentation New Tag(s) Group: For 5.14 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Joe Frazier, Jr. (jfrazierjr) Assigned to: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Summary: Implement DIESIZES in miscinfo Initial Comment: New Tag for miscinfo. Format: DIESIZES:1,2,3,4,6,8,10,12,20,100,1000 These values are used by the HITEDIE tag to bump up/down HD per level. ie in the base class file, if you do this CLASS:Foo HD:8 The class will have 1d8 for Hitpoints per level. Then .MODing the class: my_class.lst CLASS:Foo.MOD HASSUBSTITUTIONLEVEL:YES SUBSTITUTIONCLASS:Super Foo COST:0 SUBSTITUTIONLEVEL:1 HITDIE:%up3 Will result in the 1st level of Super Foo taken should get 1d20 instead of 1d8 (except there is a discussion over on _exp which I hope to "fix" the code because it is currently broken) which is 3 "steps" above 1d8 in the progression. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Eddy Anthony (eddyanthony) Date: 2007-12-11 13:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=886893 Originator: NO DIESIZES added and HITDIE entries updated at svn 4710 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Maredudd (maredudd800) Date: 2007-12-11 11:13 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1569765 Originator: NO As Eddy has got this write up done already, I'll throw it over to him to implement . . . :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Maredudd (maredudd800) Date: 2007-12-06 17:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1569765 Originator: NO Some additional doc clarification needs to be done. >From experimental: ********************* Hi Tom! --- In pcg...@ya..., "Tom Parker" <thpr@...> wrote: > > I believe the docs are wrong, and the steps are > 1,2,4,6,8,10,12,20,100,1000.
