Category: Documentation Clarification Group: For 5.14 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Maredudd (maredudd800) >Assigned to: Maredudd (maredudd800) Summary: Remove (TEMPLATENAME).MOD entry in globalother file. Initial Comment: > This tag is included in the gloabalothers doc file yet the description of the tag says it is used > in template files. > > Is it truely global or should it be located in the template file docs? > > Eric > .MOD itself is global. Of course when you .MOD a template, that only affects the template. The entry itself looks a bit unfortunate in the docs. I think it was added solely for the purpose of linking somewhere for the deprecation of the TEMPLATE:x.REMOVE tag, but for that you would modify the object that calls the template via the TEMPLATE tag, and not the TEMPLATE itself. I think the entry can be deleted and the deprecated TEMPLATE:x.REMOVE tag should point directly to .MOD instead. In that case the (TEMPLATENAME).MOD should not be deleted but be moved from global tags to Template tags instead. Still the deprecated TEMPLATE:x.REMOVE tag should better point to the global .MOD entry. -- Frank ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=748234&aid=1775614&group_id=25576 |
