Category: Campaign Support >Group: For 6.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Paul W. King (kingpaul) Assigned to: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Summary: enhance code to allow substitution levels Initial Comment: There are books that allow characters to substitute out class levels for specific abilities. One example is in Unearthed Arcana where specialist wizards can choose to forgo standard wizard class abilities and get specialized abilities. Creating a change in the code will be more elegant solution than creating umpteen-gazillion data variants. Paul W. You're basically taking out 1+ levels of abilities and then inserting a new set. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2005-09-29 11:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 Yeah. I'm thinking basically Subclasses could be used for this, and .MODs to change things in process as new sources get added. I realise new Tags etc woulds need to be involved... - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384722&aid=1236170&group_id=25576 |
