Category: None Group: None Status: Pending Resolution: None Priority: 9 Submitted By: Paul W. King (kingpaul) Assigned to: Andrew Wilson (nuance) Summary: LEVEL:x:FEAT:TYPE.type broken Initial Comment: In 5.6 LEVEL:5:FEAT:TYPE.type would fire a chooser for feats of TYPE.type. It does not for 5.8 and 5.9.7. LEVEL:5:FEAT:featname does work. Paul W. This may well have been broken in 5.8. and 5.9.7, but as far as I can see it isn't now. I've changed stuff around there recently and so has boomer it's possible one of us fixed it already. We can certainly deprecate the sucky syntax, it actually converts it to the syntax you want and passes it to another part of the code at the moment anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2006-04-04 23:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 ah, the TYPE. v. TYPE=.... Can you make either work? And then I'd like this syntax Deprecated post 5.10 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew Wilson (nuance) Date: 2006-04-04 19:28 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=41667 As far as I can see this isn't broken. If someone can give me an example of what they think is broken, I'll take another look. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew Wilson (nuance) Date: 2006-04-03 01:30 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=41667 I've tested this with the latest code from subversion. It's working for me. What exactly is it you think is broken? Here's what's working for me andrew VISIBLE:YES LEVEL:2:FEAT:TYPE=FIGHTER I apply this to a human rogue, it gets offered a choice of fighter feats it qualifies for at second level. Is taht what you thinkis broken? should it auto qualify? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew Wilson (nuance) Date: 2006-04-03 00:52 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=41667 Is there an example of this in the RSRD or SRD that you're aware of? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2006-04-03 00:49 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 FEAT tag in LEVEL is different from other FEAT tags. If we want to fix this, the proper thing to do is LEVEL:x:ADD:FEAT(TYPE.type) Tir Gwaith ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Paul W.
