Category: Other Group: 5.8.0 Stable >Status: Deleted Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: jmilus (jmilus) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Hungarian umlauts are replaced with # in pdf Initial Comment: When I use characters with hungarian umlauts ő (o + double acute, UTF-8: 0xC5 0x91) or ű (u + double acute, UTF-8: 0xC5 0xB1) the exported pdf shows just # instead of the character. The program itself shows the right characters. Every other character vith acute in the Hungarian language have no problem (á é í ó ú etc.) and if I replace the problematic characters by õ (o + tilde) and ũ (u + tilde) the pdf can show the u + tilde and the o + tilde right. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-12-06 13:15 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 This is a duplicate bug, basically FOP does not support UTF (only basic latin encoding), we're looking for an alternative! - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: jmilus (jmilus) Date: 2005-10-15 14:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1345129 It dosen't work. I added the following lines to fo.lst and xml.lst: 0x0151 ő #LATIN SMALL O WITH DOUBLE ACUTE 0x0150 Ő #LATIN CAPITAL O WITH DOUBLE ACUTE 0x0171 ű #LATIN SMALL U WITH DOUBLE ACUTE 0x0170 Ű #LATIN CAPITAL U WITH DOUBLE ACUTE and I got # instead of the characters. It is strange, because the Y + diaeresis (which is in the same code page) is work well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Greg Bingleman (byngl) Date: 2005-09-25 02:19 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=328527 Try adding an entry for this character into system/outputFilters/fo.lst Let us know if it works or not. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384719&aid=1291734&group_id=25576 |
