King (kingpaul) Assigned to: Devon Jones (soulcatcher) Summary: game mode override Initial Comment: This is something I thought had been done when the other parts were done, but upon testing last night found that it hasn't been... I'd like to get a tracker entered for it and get it done. The ability for the *gamemode* to load/use/override the files contained in the system bio folder (traits.lst and location.lst basically). CMP needs this to be able to do away with the godawful method we have now of having multiple system directorys so we can support HARP. I'd like to have it implemented such that if there is a /bio directory under the operational gamemode directory it will override/replace the one in the system/bio directory. If the speed with which the other files were moved to the game-mode is any indication, this shoudln't really be a big/hard change should it? Any objections? Last one I promise. :) Chris === Paul W.
