Category: User Interface Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Kurt Wimmer (kwimmer) >Assigned to: Aaron Divinsky (boomer70) Summary: Multiple Selection on the Right Side of Tabs Initial Comment: For several of the Tabs (Skills, Spells, Gear, Equipping (and Feats to a lesser degree)) the left side supports (or should / shall hopefully) multiple selection, however the right does not. Being a list of items upon which one might want to be able to perform the same action on several items at one time, it would be nice if CTRL and SHIFT + Click worked to allow multiple selection on the right-hand side as well. I kept it as a single FREQ because even though the underlying code is different, perhaps being a single FREQ will allow less chance for several people to end up doing the same thing and we can better re-use -- hopefully design specifically for -- all the tabs at one time. In the end being but a setting at "table / list / tree" creation time that turns on / off multiple selection and the like. However, being a single "large" FREQ, it may require more time than one designer has ;) [Plus I was already asked to make just a single one ;) ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-10-13 01:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 next again - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bryan McRoberts (merton_monk) Date: 2004-09-04 15:54 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=195874 Another nice feature request by Mr. Wimmer. :) Just lowering the priority to reflect that this isn't mission critical, but still something we want to keep on our list for an ambitious coder. We keep planning a GUI overhaul, so hopefully this will get included in the scope of that. Right Devon? :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kurt Wimmer (kwimmer) Date: 2003-08-12 12:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=192778 Again, for a fully featured UI, and a consistent feel across the board, this is functionality the UI requires, at some point. Again, if all lists or tables are based on a single (set of) parent, than adding a method to the parent to setup the handlers should allow all derived classes to have it to. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384722&aid=722028&group_id=25576 |
