Category: Code Related (Add/Del/Improve) Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Anders E. Andersen (ellenshoej) Assigned to: Devon Jones (soulcatcher) Summary: Print double line feeds as new paragraph on output sheets Initial Comment: I am using PCGen 5.8 rc8. On the description tab, when I edit a biography, I seperate paragraphs with double line feeds. On both html and pdf output sheets the double line feed is converted to a single line break. I would like double line feeds to be interpreted as the beginning of a new paragraph, so the spacing between paragraphs is conserved. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Devon Jones (soulcatcher) Date: 2005-09-27 08:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=107647 what if we allowed xhtml? if it was using xhtml, we could probably use xslt to transform it properly to display in the pdf. big project, but it would add some potentially need things (like tables and such) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-09-27 07:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Top of my head, no, because we're deaing with PDF, TXT and HTML, we used to allow HTML markup, but no longer :-) - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Anders E. Andersen (ellenshoej) Date: 2005-09-27 06:57 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1119886 Is there at present a way to achieve this? Right now I am coping by using a single dot to get (almost) a blank line. I was thinking if this was achievable using some kind of markup. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-09-27 06:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 Hmm, Devon, I _guess_ we could do this, would need a well explained docs entry though... - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=384722&aid=1208125&group_id=25576 |
