Some combinations of composite devices (like ft2232 is) and WinUSB is not supported by WinUSB, but you could experiment with using 2x WinUSB driver for 1x device, ie. using the WinUSB driver for each interface in the device, as opposed to using the WinUSB driver once for the entire device. Microsoft made a mess with WinUSB there, but oh well. zadig.exe from the libwdi project makes it very easy to use WinUSB for a device.
