Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Andrius (aandrius) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: OO: Segmenting on inline drawings Initial Comment: OmegaT RC12a splits sentences on inline frames, text boxes or drawings. It's very similar to fixed bug # 1458673 (inline images). Though I don't see any reasonable use for inline frames or callouts :-), inline drawings or text boxes are really useful. Expected behaviour: The paragraph is not segmented on the objects; any text present in the objects is displayed in a separate segment after the paragraf. Steps to reproduce: import the attached file into OmegaT. Some info from content.xml: Object: object tag text tag ========================================= Frame draw:frame text:p Text box draw:frame text:span Basic shapes: Rectangle draw:rect text:p Line draw:line text:p Ellipse, circle segment draw:ellipse text:p Polygon draw:polyline text:p Curve, freeform draw:path text:p Arc draw:circle text:p Callouts draw:caption text:p Custom shapes: draw:custom-shape text:p (and draw:enhanced-geometry after text:p) Groupped objects: draw:g text:p for each object ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Andrius (aandrius) Date: 2006-08-16 17:30 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1577021 >Are you sure there is no paragraph break in the text:p ? Absolutely: 1. objects with no text contain just <text:p/> tag; 2. objects with texts contain just one word. Even if there would be a paragraph break, it would be the question whether or not (better not) to segment _the object text_, and not the sentence that contains the object. Seems that any text:p (even empty<text:p/>) itself is like a paragraph break. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-08-16 16:23 Message: Logged In: NO Are you sure there is no paragraph break in the text:p ? I reported similar behavior for files imported from Excel where there is no difference between line and paragraph break, it was pretty annoying but it was decided to keep the behavior. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=520347&aid=1541277&group_id=68187 |
