Guys, is there a way to ascertain the full Windows path from a shell command like `pwd` ? Ie, I want J:/MinSYS/home/Angus/... rather than /home/Angus/... Regards, Angus <background> I have this snippet in a Makefile.am that substitutes paths for "%LYX_DIR%", "%LOCALEDIR%" and "%TOP_SRCDIR%", creating the file package.C which is then compiled. I'd like the executable to contain strings that are independent of the configure environment. @rm -f tmp_package ;\ ABS_SRCDIR=`cd $(top_srcdir) && pwd` ;\ ABS_BUILDDIR=`cd ../.. && pwd` ;\ sed "s,%LYX_DIR%,$(pkgdatadir),;\ s,%LOCALEDIR%,$(datadir)/locale,;\ s,%TOP_SRCDIR%,$${ABS_SRCDIR}," \ $(srcdir)/package.C.in > tmp_package ;\ cmp -s tmp_package package.C && { rm -f tmp_package ;\ } || { rm -f package.C ;\ mv tmp_package package.C ;\ } <\background> |
