I was remiss in reading this mailing list but what Chris says above, is, of course, right. The cygwin project doesn't control w32api or mingw releases in any way and I'm happy to give checkin authority to anyone you all think is appropriate. Please don't use my name as the authorizer, however, since that will just confuse me. If you use Earnie or Danny or Chris's name, then I'll be more likely to understand what is going on. Btw, is there any chance that we could get a new release of both mingw and w32api soon? I somehow screwed up the recent cygwin DLL release and accidentally included w32api and mingw. I was going to request a new version of w32api since it seems like there have been a number of good changes since the last release but now I have a more personal (and embarrassing) reason to ask for a new release of both packages. cgf |
