Upgrade won't help. The reason this doesn't work is because the ``del'' command is built into command.com (or cmd.exe under WinNT)... and there's no external equivalent. On top of that, del doesn't like having more than one non-switch argument. You can: 1- Use cmd /c del *.o cmd /c del *.dll cmd /c del *.exe (from WinNT/2000) OR command /c del *.o command /c del *.dll command /c del *.exe (from Win9x/ME) 2- Get an external deletion program, such as rm 3- Use deltree instead of del. It works on files too.
