Yes, of course. As soon as it will be proven to really not have problems. As for FAQ, it's really big and become obsolete. Laura Michaels did great work for collecting so much info, but FAQ should be document which answers for not immediately obvious things for newcomer, not something that overloads or misleads them. FAQ in that form was required when there was no own Mingw site, so everything was stuffed into single document. Now, we can factor out it into several more useful and maintainable documents. Dlltool will be deprecated, too ;-) The whole idea is to have dll builing process as close as possible to normal unix .so, of course, with ability to specify win32-pe peculiarities. Right now, ld I know of one thing which ld cannot do and dlltool can: generate implib from .def (as separate process, I mean).
