Hi, I just signed up to this mailing list. I'm an active member of the ReactOS project (http://www.reactos.com). that's why I'm very interested in improving MinGW. Especially 'fastcall' and 'structured exception handling' (SEH) suport are needed very much. A few weeks ago Chris Telting started a discussion about NT driver development on this list. A major showstopper for developing NT drivers using MinGW is the missing image checksum support. Based on some information I found on the net, I wrote a little tool that calculates and/or validates image checksums. The attached program is only a proof-of-concept. Because it uses several calls to the Win32 api it cannot be used for cross-development yet. I would like to integrate it into MinGW and make it platform independant. Any help is appreciated because I'm not familiar with the bfd library. Best regards, Eric Kohl |
