I mean - the shell - and all the other little tools - that are needed to configure the source tree, and set up the make files. To build the mingw-toolchain You will need a remarkable subset of POSIX functionality along with some additional GNU - tools. So currently there are three ways of building mingw: 1. cross-compile from LINUX / FreeBSD or any other reasonable OS. 2. Use CYGWIN 3. Use Mickey's selfhosting toolchain Ciao, Franco |
