The /etc/profile installed by the 1.0.7 release does not set HISTFILE. I
probably should have mentioned it before but I assumed you did it
intentionally in the prerelease for some reason, because I saw that the
/etc/profile in CVS does set HISTFILE. Compare the "Last Revised" date of
the release file (2002.04.11) with the file in CVS: "2002.05.04".
