Thanks; that's been the toughest patch of the "Interix" ones
to keep alive; I hope it gets accepted into the main line
someday.

I don't know what your driving force behind applying this
patch is, but I suspect that we share the hope that the rest
of the Interix patches will get applied, because with a few
small exceptions, they're also of benefit to Cygwin and mingw.

I have merged Donn Terry's native-struct patches

into GCC-3.0

Diff file attached

Apart from stor-layout.c, patches applied relatively cleanly.
stor-layout.c has undergone some reorganisation since 2.95.  Note that
as in Donn's refreshed patch above, GROUP_BITFIELDS_BY_ALIGN now takes
an
argument.

I have tested native struct with Donn's testcase only.  Also tested with
fltk to ensure changes did not break other things.

PS  Still need to sort out some minor changes to Donn's changelog.
I don't understand GCC's indentation rules.  What indent settings should
I use?

Please reply to either mingw list or yahoo address above.  I can't get
through to either right now some I'm using this one.
