No dynamic runtime libs provided. Licensing issues are only one part of the dll hassle. Versioning is another. In 6 months to a year, we'll have gcc 3 with new ABI that will break backward comapatibility in a big way. It will also have a libstdc++ that follows standard and hence should havc a stable interface. Wait till then before making a fuss about about libstdc++ dlls. Paul, you have a script that converts static to dll, why not just provide that. Confusion amongst users is a big concern. Let's try to minimise it, please.
