My position is that compiling the licensed code into executable form and distributing it that way does fall under the category of distributing a significant portion of the Software. I have done a lot of Google-ing to try and find a compelling reason that proves me wrong, but haven't come up with anything besides unqualified people such as yourself stating agreement or disagreement.
