Unfortunately current w32api doesn't have IActiveDesktop interface defined. In that case, since the discussion died almost a year ago, could you perhaps remind the other developers that this decision is pending? I have a valid MS Visual Studio license thus I compiled that helper program via Visual Studio. Then run the program, on my machine, output is: template: 0x88E39E8011CF3578869AE62122E2B cls: 0x7504870011D0EF1F60008898F9ACDE97 iid: 0xF490EB0011D1124060008898F9ACDE97 The "template" variable is "known" IID_IShellView2 interface which is already defined in MinGW API. I used it to figure which bytes are swapped.
