Can you examine the list of exported functions using something like dependency walker, create a definition file (.def) listing those function names, and use MS' lib.exe tool to create a .lib from it, then link against the lib? I have no idea if it would work, but it's an option... -----Original Message----- From: Nick Deubert [mailto:nde...@gm...] Sent: Monday, March 08, 2010 12:38 PM To: MinGW Users List Subject: Re: [Mingw-users] Linking with a Managed MSVC dll On Fri, Mar 5, 2010 at 4:50 PM, Dennis Wassel <den...@go...> wrote: > AFAIK managed code is a whole different cup of tea from everything else. > I vaguely remember my colleague to interface with it once, and I think > he did so by using some well-defined COM interop, which is probably > what is described at > http://*msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/sd10k43k(VS.71).aspx Hi Dennis, Thanks, I'm working on getting a working example of COM Interop, but so far no luck yet(still working on it though). Meanwhile I remembered there was a second method listed on the MSVC/Mingw page about using reimp and making archive files but when I run reimp on my lib file (whether I compiled it as managed or not) I get "dllname.lib: invalid or corrupt import library" everytime. Does anyone know more about this command and why it thinks my lib is corrupted? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
