Category: gcc Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Julien Darthenay (jdarthenay) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: unable to use the -finput-charset gcc option Initial Comment: I've just updated Mingw with the auto-installer. Now, none of my programs can compile. gcc version : 3.4.5 ld version : 2.17.50 OS : Windows XP SP2 professionnal I just try to use gcc with the option -finput-charset=iso-8859-1. gcc tells me "cc1.exe: no iconv implementation, cannot convert from iso-8859-1 to UTF-8" gcc worked before before I update Mingw. Which package should I "downgrade" to have it working again ? How to do that ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Julien Darthenay (jdarthenay) Date: 2009-03-24 19:41 Message: The bug was with the package gcc-core-3.4.5-20060117-3.tar.gz I've just solved it by downgrading to the package gcc-core-3.4.5-20060117-1.tar.gz ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=2706891&group_id=2435 |
